With inspiration taken from Filipino Martial Arts, Hardcore Hardware Australia brings to you its first signature blade in the martial arts genre, the Razorback CQB-01.
Featuring a 6mm (0.236") thick, full tang, D2 tool steel blade, all contours are expertly hollow ground and sharpened. The reverse grip blade of the Razorback has a unique single sided, cutting edge designed to achieve excellent cutting power. The overall effect of the blades up swept front cutting edge presents easily for cutting strokes, whilst the downward angle of the non-sharpened edge facilitates non-cutting applications. The combination of live and non-live edges makes the Razorback extremely well suited a range of techniques and the large finger notch is devised to ensure a secure grip to increase retention substantially.
The Razorback has an extended glass break, hammer pommel, with lanyard point. Ergonomic, textured G10 scales enhance feel for a superior grip; handling is aided by non-slip jimping in key points at both front and back. To reduce grip weight and optimize balance, the tang and handle scales have been skeletonized, the resultant cavity in the handle doubles as a hidden storage compartment for emergency items. Grip scales are secured with Torx screw all steel fittings.
Personalised mounting is critical for an instinctive and swift deployment. Therefore, the Razorback Kydex® ambidextrous sheath comes with a Tek-Lok™ belt mounting system. This can be customised in vertical, horizontal or angled positions and is fully ambidextrous. The provision of eyelet holes along both sides of the blade carrier facilitates alternate attachment to the body or gear via paracord or cable ties. A friction lock system fastens the Razorback securely in its sheath.
